Career Treks New York City
The Career Treks program brings students into the workplaces of LMU alumni and friends to expose them to potential career paths and broaden their understanding of industries and company culture. The program leverages LMU’s well-positioned and successful alumni who are excited to share their insights and personal career stories with students. Participants engage with professionals around specific interests through targeted learning, conversation, and informal networking.
The program is open to all majors and class levels, including international and graduate students.

CPD is heading to the Big Apple and we want to bring you along! This 3-day trip to New York City will give students an insight into what it takes to work and live in New York.
There will be two specialized tracks catered to Business and Creative Professions and will include site visits with top industry employers, group activities at popular New York attractions, and opportunities to network with alumni and employers. Confirmed employers include, T-Mobile, Bloomberg, Paramount, NBC Universal, GroupM, AlphaSights, Citibank, and 1Iota. This experience will be open to all students, with a preference to students within a year of graduation. Please read more eligibility below.
Eligibility
- Priority will be given to juniors, seniors, and 2nd/3rd year graduate students but all students are welcome to apply
- All interested students MUST attend an information session before the apply. See dates below.
- Strong interest of interning or working on the East Coast is preferred
