Rotational Programs

Rotational leadership programs are opportunities that allow new hires to rotate between company departments, quickly gaining a variety of experiences and depth of knowledge of the company. These opportunities provide structured networking and mentoring opportunities in addition to technical experience. Additionally, they may serve as a springboard into a managerial positions for full time hires and a potential full time job offer following an internship.

Employers often have opportunities across many different functional areas; for example, engineering companies have rotational programs in marketing and communications. These departments, if applicable, are listed in parentheses after the organizations.

This sample list of leadership development and rotational programs is not complete, but provides an idea of the range of opportunities available. You are encouraged to do further research on companies or areas of interest to determine if they offer programs of a similar nature.
