Virtual Peer Advisor Drop-in Hours

Visit careers.lmu.edu/lobby from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (PST) to meet with a Peer Advisor or Graduate Assistant and get help on your resume, cover letter, job search strategy, and more. All drop-ins are 15 minutes long and are held on Zoom Web Conferencing. 24/7 Resume Assistance

Submit your resume to VMock, a 24-7 online resume-review tool, to get instant personalized feedback. Log in with your LMU ID and upload your resume. Review resume and cover letter writing tips.

We offer multiple resources to help you explore career opportunities. We have curated several of our favorite resources to help you discover career paths, learn about internship positions, and find full-time jobs.

  • Activate your free Roadtrip Nation account to access LMU's Roadtrip Webisodes and Roadtrip Nation's Video Archive where you can hear stories from celebrities, industry leaders, LMU alumni, and many other exciting professionals about how they got to where they are today.
  • Visit What Can I Do With This Major. Whether you’re exploring majors or searching for information about your chosen field, this website will help you connect majors to careers. Learn about typical career areas and types of employers that hire people with each major, as well as strategies to make you a more marketable candidate.

Utilize LinkedIn Learning, an online learning platform that allows you to discover and develop the skills you want and need through a personalized, data-driven learning experience.

Virtual Office Hours

Drop-in to virtual office hours with a career coach using Zoom Web Conferencing. You can access Zoom Web Conferencing via web browser or download the application to a smart device. Learn how to create your Zoom Web Conferencing account.

Virtual Coaching Appointments

Book a one-on-one appointment with a career coach to discuss topics such as internships, job searches, resumes, cover letters, interviews, and more. Once confirmed, a Zoom Web Conferencing link will be sent to you via email. Students with previously confirmed appointments will receive Zoom Web Conferencing links to meet virtually with their career coach.
