The Environmental Law Society (ELS) is a place where students passionate about the environment can come together to find community, network, and get involved in events on and off campus. ELS hosts networking events, career panels, social gatherings, and leads volunteer efforts such as beach cleanups, recycling drives, and fundraisers. Each year, ELS also organizes a group of LLS students to attend the Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite, hosted by the California Lawyer’s Association. ELS members have a wide variety of environmental law related interests, including environmental justice, land use, clean air and water, energy infrastructure, and more. We also have an alumni network which includes attorneys at small, medium, and big law firms, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. Join now to get involved!
