BIPOC Community: This page is dedicated to empowering BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) students on their professional journeys.
First-Generation Students: At LMU, any student whose parent(s) or caregiver(s) did not receive a bachelor’s degree from a university located within the United States is referred to as a first-generation student. Discover specialized guidance and opportunities designed to empower and elevate students who are the first in their families to attend college.
International Students: CPD has a wealth of resources for international students to explore majors and careers, learn about the job market both in the U.S and abroad, develop effective job search tools and graduate school preparation.
LGBTQ+: Learn about inclusive programs and initiatives that celebrate diversity and promote a safe and supportive work environment for LGBTQ+ individuals.
Religiously Affiliated: Regardless of your religious affiliation, there are many career paths you can take that not only utilize your unique experience but also speak to your values as a religious person.
Student-Athletes: Your success as a student-athlete affords you a unique set of highly transferable skills and has prepared you to be an excellent employee.
Students with Disabilities: For job seekers with disabilities, the job search may include questions and challenges that others may not regularly come up against. Access comprehensive support services, accommodations, and advocacy to ensure equal access and success.
Transfer Students: We know that for our transfer students, time is of the essence! CPD can help you access pertinent resources early and often to help you begin and continue on in your career development.
