How does it work?
The Iris professional photo booth is an easy-to-use self-service photo booth with a touch screen, high-quality lighting, and camera equipment. Here’s how the process works:
- Arrive at the Career and Professional Development (CPD), ready and wearing your professional attire.
- Take a seat on the adjustable stool, and follow the prompts on the screen.
- To take your photos, continue to follow the prompts on the screen.
- Your photos are emailed to you for downloading and editing.
- Photos can be accessed to download for up to one year after being taken.
What should I wear?
Alternatively, this is entirely up to you and may depend on your desired field and purpose. Be aware that the photos will not include your lower body, so you can dress accordingly. We recommend business casual at minimum, but you are welcome to wear what you are most comfortable in. Solid colors usually work best, and mid-range to darker/deeper shades are encouraged. Avoid wearing white as the background is white, which may not provide sufficient contrast. This style includes:
- Business dress pants or khakis
- Knee-length skirts
- Button-down shirts or blouses
- Optional cardigan or blazer
What if I don’t have anything professional to wear?
The Career and Professional Development (CPD) offer professional clothing from our Mane Apparel Closet.
