Big Interview gives LMU students and alumni on-demand access to interview practice and a library of pre-recorded interview questions categorized by industry, competency, and circumstance to refine your in-person and virtual interviewing skills. This platform can be used for preparing for internship, employment or graduate/professional school interviews.

How to Use Big Interview – Students

Login to lmu.edu/biginterview using your LMU username and password
Complete a CPD Practice Interview
- Early-career students who are interviewing for on-campus jobs, part-time jobs, and internships
- Graduating students who are interviewing for full-time jobs
- Graduate students and experienced undergraduates who are interviewing for jobs for experienced professionals

How do I book an interview prep appointment with CPD?

You can make an interview prep appointment with CPD in Handshake. Prior to the start of your appointment, we encourage you to complete a CPD Practice Interview in Big Interview using the instructions above. A CPD coach will be able to review your recordings and provide feedback.

How do I start a practice interview based on my career field?

Once logged into Big Interview, go to the Interviews drop down next to My Dashboard. Click Question Library and select By Industry on the left side. There you can choose a practice interview that aligns with your industry.

Can I use this platform as an LMU alum?

Yes. Access can be requested by emailing CPD at careers@lmu.edu and sharing your personal email address.
