Career and Professional Development (CPD) is here to support you as we navigate our return to campus. We recommend you visit us early and often, and we can't wait to meet you!

CPD Open Office Hours – No Appointment Required

Get help on your resume, cover letter, job search strategy, and more. Sessions are 15 minutes long and are held during weekdays when school is in session from 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. PST. No appointment is necessary.

Career Coaching by Appointment – Schedule via Handshake

Schedule an appointment with a school/college-specific career coach for an in-depth session to maximize your career readiness and guide your strategic approach to professional development. Graduate assistants are also available for coaching by appointment.

Appointments with career coaches and graduate assistants support students with job search, networking strategy, interview preparation, application document review, job offer evaluation, and more. Schedule your appointment through Handshake for a 30-minute session.

  • Students can see any career coach based on career interest or School/College affiliation. No appointment needed.

    2. Confirm your “Career Interests” section is completely filled out
    3. Click on the “Career Center” dropdown menu
    4. Click on “Appointments
    5. Click on the “Schedule a New Appointment” button
    6. Select the appropriate category
    7. Select an appointment type
    8. Scroll down or select by week to view upcoming available appointments and click on the desired appointment
    9. Add required appointment details
    10. Click on the green “Request” button to request the career coaching appointment
