HBS Online CORe

Learn the language of business:
Apply for Harvard Business School's Online CORe for LMU students

Are you a BCLA student hoping to land a great job after graduation, but find business discussions as indecipherable as a foreign language? Are you a CFA or SFTV student considering a freelance career after graduation, but uncertain about the business acumen required for working as an artist? Are you a Seaver student looking to enhance your business knowledge in order to compete for assistantships and research positions?

Harvard Business School's Online CORe is for you.

Developed by Harvard Business School faculty to bring the dynamism of the HBS classroom online, the Credential of Readiness (CORe) immerses you in a series of multimedia case studies. You will step into the role of a business leader and learn concepts in the context of real business issues—actively challenging you to think on your feet—while sharing your ideas with fellow learners from around the world. You will walk away from CORe with a new perspective on the world and how businesses work.

Upon successful completion of an HBS Online CORe program, participants will receive a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. The CORe Credential will set your resume apart and expand your network by giving you access to the impressive and diverse CORe community. Previous business experience or coursework is not required.

LMU is proud to be one of 30+ official collaborating universities, providing additional benefits to students taking CORe. As a collaborating university, LMU students are granted need-based financial scholarships from HBS Online. The fee for the full CORe program is $2,250, with up to $1,800 in scholarships available for LMU students who currently receive financial aid. HBS Online will work with LMU to review your financial aid eligibility, with no further action required on your part. Depending on the timing of your application, admission and scholarship decisions may take up to four weeks.

There are new cohorts starting each month with programs varying from 8-18 weeks. Visit the HBS Online CORe website to learn more about Program Structure and Courses.
